Each frag plug simply presses into the retention slots where a unique locking design grips the plug stem. As the container moves during shipping, the grip on the frag plug increases, helping keep corals securely positioned and minimizing unwanted movement throughout transit.

When it's time to unpack, simply twist the frag plug to release it from the holder without excessive force or risk of damage.

This versatile design also doubles as a sand bed coral stand. The shipping stem unscrews from the holder, allowing the frag rack portion to be placed directly in the aquarium substrate for temporary holding, acclimation, quarantine, or display.
